
Grammy Award-winning music producer Todd Ray was born and raised in Lancaster, South Carolina. He began his career as a member of the 'White Boys' rap group, which released 'On A Mission' in 1988 (Polygram Records). Todd remained in the music industry, becoming a renowned hip-hop producer (now known as 'T-Ray'). His career has logged a lengthy discography, which includes production work for Cypress Hill, Santana, G-Love & Special Sauce, 311, Korn and White Zombie, to name a few. In 2008, two of his tracks were featured on the 'Hancock' movie soundtrack.
Todd attended Lancaster High School (c/o 1984), where he was elected Student Body President, served on the Student Council and received a pre-med scholarship.
He now resides in Malibu, California and is rumored to have the largest record collection on the West Coast.T-Ray Discography

- While still in Lancaster, Todd fashioned folk-art furniture and used the money from his furniture sales to go to New York City and pursue a career in music.
- In 1999, T-Ray did production for Santana's album, 'Supernatural' (which led to a Grammy Award in 2000).

Inspiring. It's amazing the talent grown right here in such a small area. I'd like to think that the lack of activity forces us to be creative, and that creativity spawns our talents and propels our careers and future.
Either that or people just REALLY want to get away!
What about the Grammy? He won that for his work with Santana, correct?
