Julie Roberts rose to Country Music stardom in 2004 with her Top 20 hit 'Break Down Here'. In 2006 she did a remake of Saving Jane's 'Girl Next Door'. She is a native of Lancaster, South Carolina.The daughter of an engineer and an accountant, Julie has been singing as long as she can remember. She spent summers performing in music shows at Carowinds and Dollywood.
Entertainment Weekly awarded her 2004 self-tiitled debut CD an 'A', calling it "one of the most auspicious debuts in years". CMT selected Roberts to be the first artist ever to appear in 'In The Moment', the music network's hour-long documentary on the making of a star.

Julie is a spokesperson for FUZE Healthy Infuzions Beverages. She now resides in Nashville, TN.

- Julie first attended USC-Lancaster (1997-1999) before graduating from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee with a degree in business administration. She became assistant to Mercury Records label head Luke Lewis, who later heard Julie's demo tape.
- The New York Times said Roberts' aching and resolute hit 'Break Down Here' was "one of the year's best country ballads"
- Julie performed 'America The Beautiful' for former presidents Bill Clinton and George Bush, Sr. at the black-tie Liberty Medal Ceremony & Gala.
- Julie Roberts was nominated for the Horizon Award at the 39th Annual Country Music Association Awards.
